The Juno Awards are Canada’s premier music awards, presented annually by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). More than a single-night broadcast, JUNOS is a national, week-long music festival that takes place in multiple host cities across Canada, bringing together artists, industry professionals, sponsors, media, and fans.
As a high-profile national brand, the JUNOS digital presence needs to support large traffic spikes, clearly communicate event programming across multiple locations, and reflect the cultural significance of Canada’s music industry—both domestically and internationally.
What Problems Did They Face?
The JUNO Awards required a multifaceted website capable of supporting several critical functions within a single, cohesive platform.
Beyond event promotion, the site needed to act as a reliable gateway for ticketing, showcase and elevate Canadian artists, and provide a secure, user-friendly voting experience—all while handling national attention and time-sensitive traffic spikes.
How Did We Help?
Our team designed and developed a custom, web-based ticketing and seating management system, including a secure e-commerce platform built to handle high demand during peak on-sale periods.
In addition, we created the official JUNO Fan Choice Awards website, and provided hands-on, real-time support throughout JUNO Week to ensure staff at CARAS had immediate assistance during live events.
